You must restart your computer to apply these changes

I haven"t set up any type of brand-new software application lately, yet last week, I booted my computer system to be told: "You have to restart your computer to apply these changes". This occurred around 3 times over the course of a few days.

You watching: You must restart your computer to apply these changes

I haven"t checked out that message for a pair of years now, given that I turned Windows Updays entirely off (it"s collection to "Never before inspect for updates").

Could Microsoft be issuing trick updates? Is there any type of method to view a log of what updates have been downloaded/installed?

Starray, I simply checked my Windows Update settings, and also package was checked for "Give me recommended updates the very same way I receive essential updates". I do not remember having that box checked, and also I"ve unchecked it now. But the primary setting is collection to "Never check for updates" so it sucount shouldn"t also be feasible to obtain any updates.

Thanks, I appreciate that pointer. But after what Microsoft did to all Windows 7 individuals earlier in 2016, and after seeing the horrors of Windows 10, I no longer trust them one little bit. I would rather "ffinish for myself" than trust Microsoft to assist save me safe. They are clearly spying on people and also who knows what horrors are hidden in their so-called "important "updays.

(By the way, sorry around the quoting in this message. I wasn"t able to figure out exactly how to usage these stselection quote controls.)
