I have likewise equivalent problem, but initially I will certainly try define my case.

I have purchased a year ago Alienware 14 through premounted Windows 8.1

(key as an OEM in BIOS is also included). Two months later on I purchased

an mSATA SSD and determined to replace mechanism from HDD+"SSD cache" to

SSD (OS) and HDD (DATA). I likewise chose to upgrade my Windows 8.1 to Pro

version and whatever was fine.

After months I have actually upgraded my 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro.

Two weeks earlier I purchased 1TB SSD to replace HDD for information to faster one.

I likewise made a decision to reisnstall OS and now I have actually some trouble through Synaptics,

yet not just - with other services also.

So - after lengthy intro I will certainly define my (equivalent to above) difficulty.

When I mounted Windows 10 from disc, I have actually noticed, that Windows installed

itself with Home variation (BIOS key), so I supplied "change Windows key" option

to upgrade it to my formerly activated Pro.

After installation and also successful activation I have actually mounted all chauffeurs first

and also updates prior to I will install any nvarious other application.

Finally:

I have actually noticed, that I have actually no Synaptics icon in tray. I run newest drivers

19.0.19 installer, however after "successful installation" alert, mouse wasis

vible at Device Manager as "Synaptics PS/2 mouse".

I have actually determined to install motorists for mouse from Dell website, but:

- drivers were older (19.0.15) than actual ones from Synaptics (19.0.19)

- motorists readjusted my "PS/2 Mouse" into "SMBus mouse"

But I set up these motorists anyway... System has actually noticed this and also drivers

additionally set up an Application via symbol in tray I wanted. I have noticed also

little lags once I click Windows Logo, or go through settings (sometimes).

My problem is formally after this as below:

1) When I try to install newer driver (PS/2 and also SMBus compatible) - it is mounted, but Windows is display me still 19.0.15 version

2) When I attempt to uncover newer vehicle drivers from Windows Upday - system tells me, that newest chauffeurs are set up already

3) When I unpack chauffeurs and tell Device Manager Where are vehicle drivers to install (WDF x86 or x64 - no difference), Windows still tells me, that driver is already mounted and tright here is no brand-new version

Why?!?

Similar problem is through WLAN card:

I have noticed likewise, that on my Intel 7260-AC newest driver is 18.33 and also more recent from Intel webwebsite is 18.40, yet as soon as I attempt to install it manually by means of Intel ProSet installer, Windows still have 18.33 (older one driver) visible in Device Manager.

See more: Formatear Samsung Np300E4C, How To Factory Reset Samsung Laptop (1

The exact same, when I attempt to find newest driver instantly - 18.33 is theoretically newest and also nothing I deserve to do.

- What to do to install newest drivers in Windows 10?

- Why Windows 10 is not finding newest driver in folder, also on Windows Update?
