Deleted photos from macbook but storage space not reclaimed

I deleted all photos from my Library eons ago, and just now looking with folders noticed the Library is still at 1.83gb. So I open up Photos and indeed it shows up to be empty. No photos, no albums, no Last Import. But obviously a large quantity is archived in some method - WHICH IS ANNOYING AS HECK.

Did you go to the Recently Deleted album and also manually empty it?

If you"ve deleted all photos from the library then just delete the library itself.

Also, if you still have the iPicture library on your difficult drive that was migrated to Photos it is keeping its photos on the tough drive which were difficult linked to the Photos library.

So any photos that were deleted from the Photos library that were migrated from your iPhotograph library have to also be deleted from the iPhotograph library in order to totally free up the difficult drive space.

Simple solution to deleting whatever in Photos? Drag the Photos library to the trash and empty the trash - tright here is no undo for this

And if you moved from iPhoto you may desire to execute the same point with the resource iPhotograph library.

I don"t view "Recently Deleted" anything anywhere. I have actually All Photos and Last Import. Nothing related to iPicture.
